Experience Our Services & Amenities

At Jill’s House, each resident has a private studio apartment with a large bathroom. Care Partners and companions are Jill’s House team members who become a consistent part of each residents life. Residents know the Care Partners and companions and the companions and Care Partners know the residents and assist them with personal care meals, snacks, laundry, housekeeping, and activities.  The nurse on duty administers medications, treatments, and responds to medical emergencies.

All people thrive in a community that respects their dignity, worth, and right of self-determination. When cognitive or physical impairment compromise ability to live independently, people deserve the support to continue living a meaningful life.

Who knows what you are going through better than other caregivers? Family caregivers can benefit from talking with others in similar situations.   At support groups, caregivers can share their day to day experiences and learn more about resources and options.  The social worker at Jill’s House offers short term individual support to family members and periodic support group sessions.  Families are encouraged to join a local support group through The Alzheimers and Dementia Resource service.  Dayna Thompson and Amanda Mosier are valuable resources to the community and can be reached at 812-353-9299.  The Alzheimer’s Association is another place you can go to for help.
